Majestic yet private! Lush landscaping surrounds this jewel-like home that offers a juxtaposition of the contemporary and the traditional by introducing antique elements and old world craftsmanship into a newly designed home. Exquisite features include crown moldings, specialty wall covering and fixtures, adding to the interest and charm of the house .

This is a Hollywood Regency-style house full of grandeur. The 5000 sq ft house has location--overlooking Hollywood's Sunset Strip in a ritzy, celebrity-laden neighborhood. (Bus tours of stars' homes cruise the streets, and "limo-lock" traffic jams are common on Oscar night.) Layout and scale are spot-on, too. Rooms are nicely sized and gracefully linked. The house is classic and traditional, but there is a freshness as well about the whole house!

You can literally see all the way through the house, from the bay window in the living room to the bay in the library.

Elegantly trimmed archways up the house's star appeal. In the living room, there is a dressed ceiling with a plaster fretwork and fireplace detail . The mantel is designed in a manner inspired by the Château de Groussay near Paris. A circular convex mirror and small ledges that display 18th- and 19th-century Delft jars are incorporated into ornate paneling above the mantel.

There are raised panels on the living room walls which are painted in subtly varied shades of cream. The wonderful layers and extensive detailing make the house feel like this jewel box.

The dining room is particularly jewel-like, with a gold-leaf ceiling and an 18th-century Italian chandelier suspended from a starburst plaster medallion. Shimmering effects are enhanced by a crackled porcelain wall covering inspired by Chinese celadon ceramic ware. To make the porcelain panels, clay is applied to sheets of canvas, cracked to create veins, then hand-painted and glazed.

The designer chose a silk woven damask in a contemporary design for dining room draperies and trimmed them with traditional tassel fringe.

The octagonal-shaped breakfast room with French doors to the terrace accentuate the indoor-outdoor connections. There is hand-blocked paper depicting a rural landscape with a balustrade in the foreground.

The library as a bay window plus French doors with hand-waxed English oak panels in a warm golden hue.

Keys are made available Monday to Friday from 8AM - 4PM. For arrivals after 4PM and on weekends there is a $50 greeter fee. Please note that the greeter fee is higher after 7pm. Usual check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM, but if nobody is leaving or arriving that day, we may be able to provide a earlier check-in or later check-out. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES. Your security deposit will be credited back to your credit card within 4 weeks of your departure. LOS ANGELES GUEST SUITES, its affiliates and the Landlord are not liable for any loss, damage or theft of personal property while visiting the property.

Security deposits will vary with each property, however, any bookings longer than thirty days (30), will require one mid-stay cleaning. This can be arranged by our office on a day that is suitable for you.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

CANCELLATIONS Refund policy for this property: We will make a refund in full, less a $250.00 service fee, only if the property can be re-booked for the dates of your booking. If you need to cancel a reservation contact our office and we will be happy to do this for you. London Guest Suites will work with you on a case by case basis in the event of a cancellation. We strongly suggest you purchase cancellation insurance which can be purchased with in 2 weeks of booking and is at an average cost of $75 per $1000 of insurance. LOSS OR DAMAGE Any loss, damage or staining in the apartments must be paid for, whether accidental or deliberate, and therefore, due care and attention is advised. Although end of tenancy cleaning has been paid , unless otherwise stated, if the apartment is left in a more than usually dirty or messy condition, a local charge for extra cleaning will be levied. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY Please note the occupancy of the apartment stated in page one cannot be exceeded under any circumstances. Additional guests cannot be accommodated, and failure to inform us could render the reservation as cancelled and no refund will be given unless we are able to re-let. LOST KEYS It is vital that clients DO NOT lose keys or parking passes during occupancy or take the keys away with them at the end of their stay. If keys are not returned to us for whatever reason the cost of a new locking system, to maintain security, and the cost of extra key cutting will be charged to the clients credit card. The cost of lost keys is $500 and the loss of parking passes is $650 PLEASE TAKE TO LEAVE THESE IN THE APT AND WE WILL CHECK THESE OFF DURING FINAL INSPECTION.
