This is a very special little house in a wonderfully located area in the heart of West Hollywood. Built in 1918, it has been fully updated and is clean and contemporary. It has a tranquil garden in the back with a seating area. You can walk to cafes and restaurants. Very private and secure studio house. NEWLY REDECORATED AND NEWLY FURNISHED with a lovely kitchen!!!!! QUEEN SIZE BED and a double sofa bed located in the small guest room in the back of the cottage. . This separate BONUS guest room in the back of the small property with a desk and DESIGN WITHIN REACH double sofabed for additional guests, or can also be used as an office. This can be rented for an additional $50 per night.

In 3 minutes walk you can stroll and shop along the Avenues of Art & Design (Robertson Blvd., Beverly Blvd., and Melrose Avenue). Here, visitors and locals can browse world-class shops for the finest in art, fashion, and design. The Avenues is home to unique shops and world famous names such as Armani Casa, Williams Sonoma Home, and Stella McCartney. Not to be missed is the 1.2 million square-foot Pacific Design Center, (a 5 minute walk) visit the outdoor plaza where you will find free admission to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) West.

Spend time on trend-setting Melrose Avenue, where visitors will find cutting-edge fashions. Take an afternoon break and be part of the scene at Le Conversation, or Urth Caffe, three neighborhood-friendly cafes with a celebrity clientele – great locations for spotting Hollywood film stars. Or, indulge in an early afternoon drink at the Abbey, one of LA’s hot spots for both gay and straight visitors.

REVIEW OF JULY 29, 2013 Perfect" 5 of 5 I'm writing this review while I'm still renting the cottage. My daughter and I love it and wish we didn't have to check out. My daughter and I were here for training and an audition. This cottage has been the perfect place for us. It is just the right size for two people. It is convenient to our location needs which allowed for some much needed R&R; in the busy dance schedule. The kitchen is well appointed (although I've donated a new usable saute pan) which helps keep down the expense of eating out and easy access to healthy foods. There is a Whole foods a few blocks east on Santa Monica Blvd which I recommend. The cottage has a private back sitting area and if my husband were here we'd use it without hesitation for cocktail hour. There is a private drive to park in for one car. The road gets a little filled with cars parking in the evenings but the neighborhood is nicely quiet for sleeping. The manager if the best! Los angelss Guest Suites.com he is standing in for the property manager he is welcoming, responsive, and kind. Very Helpful!!! I Love this property! I enjoy this neighborhood (it feels a little isolated and away from the busy Santa Monica and Melrose Blvds which is a big +). I've enjoyed working with Michael and Los angeleS Guest Suites.com :).

Los Angeles Guest Suites will work with you on a case by case basis in the event of a cancellation. We strongly suggest you purchase cancellation insurance which can be purchased with in 2 weeks of booking and is at an average cost of $65 per $1000 of insurance.

Deposit Policy

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT In order to confirm a reservation we require a 50% deposit on this apartment, which is part of the total rent, which can be paid by credit card or check. The balance due 10 weeks before arrival. If arriving within 10 weeks, payment is due in full at time of booking by credit card, check or money order. Payments by credit card will automatically be debited 10 weeks prior.

Better than a hotel suite!!!

I have stayed at the Chamberlin as well as London West in WEHO. They are both fantastic hotels but I found the cottage to be perfect fit with privacy some great outdoor space and location could not be beter around the corner from Urth Cafe and shoping/resturants on Melrose and Santa Monica. If you are staying for a few days a week more I highly recommend the cottage. .. If I would make one recomendation I would get some pillows that were a bit softer... I am into down pillows or there are some fantastic fill that are super soft....
